I was there for Eli's first start November 21, 2004. The Giants hosted the Falcons at Giants Stadium and I was there with Jill and two of our friends.
I remember being excited when the Giants drafted Eli and celebrating every win, especially the big ones. I know everyone remembers the Super Bowl wins over the Patriots and the two incredible plays in each of those games that led to the eventual go-ahead wins, but I will never forget the toughness Eli showed in the NFC Championship game against San Francisco. The 49ers hit him over and over again and nearly took his helmet off a few times. Eli kept getting up and continued to play through the hits.
