President Bush Honors Bono's HIV/AIDS Leadership

President George W. Bush sat down with Bono over the weekend at the Forum on Leadership after presenting the U2 front man with the inaugural Medal for Distinguished Leadership for his work on the HIV/AIDS epidemic and poverty in Africa.

Bush praised Bono's knowledge of the epidemic saying Bono's knowledge of statistics and information about the crisis helped push the legislation forward to bring aid to Africa.

Bono praised President Bush's work before Bush corrected him explaining that it was "their work".

Both men deflected praise from one another and then issued a challenge to Congress and the American people to keep the momentum of the movement.
