Columbus Icon Lieutenant Stevens Has Passed Away at 87

The Chattahoochee Valley lost an icon today.

Lieutenant Stevens passed away during a medical procedure this afternoon.

Stevens celebrated his 87th birthday in November just before his place of employment for 74 years, Dinglewood Pharmacy, celebrated its 100th year.

Lieutenant served his world famous scramble dog since the 40’s during World War 2 when meat was being rationed.
