Clemson Routs Alabama In National Championship Game

James Edwards #95 and Hunter Renfrow #13 of the Clemson Tigers celebtate their teams 44-16 win over the Alabama Crimson Tide in the CFP National Championship presented by AT&T at Levi's Stadium

The Clemson Tigers are the 2019 National Champions after crushing the defending champions Alabama Tide 44-16 at Levi Stadium in Santa Clara, California. Clemson quarterback Trevor Lawrence threw three touchdowns while Travis Etienne added two on the ground.

Alabama could not stop Clemon's offensive attack and had no answers on defense as the Tide suffered their worst defeat under coach Nick Saban. Tua Tagovailoa threw two touchdowns and two interceptions, including one that was returned for an interception.

The win gives Clemson their second national championship in the last three seasons and they became the first college team since 1897 to go 15-0
