A deli in New Jersey has created a new sandwich designed to cater to customers who have cut bread from their diets.
Elsie's Deli in Haddon Township near Philadelphia is offering the sandwich made with large pickles made with their secret recipe.
Between the pickle bun, you'll find a traditional sandwich with meats, cheeses, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and pickles (if you really crave more pickles.
Depending on the sandwich, the price ranges from $8.50 to $9.50.
Owner Katherine Cohen says that customers have been asking for alternatives to bread because of their diets. She created the pickle bun to help those watching their carbs and sugars.
Cohen's mother is a diabetic and the pickle bun was a way to help her eat healthier.
