44 people were injured at the Yulong Shuiyun Water Amusement Park in the city of Longjing in China after a wave pool started creating massive tsunami-sized waves and tossing people around.
Video shows hundreds of people in the giant wave pool when the huge wave lifted and threw them upwards... some of them out of the pool and onto the nearby pavement. At least five people were hospitalized with broken ribs.
Initial reports say that the incident was caused by a power surge of some kind but there have also been unconfirmed reports that an employee manually set the wave strength to full power.
