Georgia K-12 Students Will Finish 2019-2020 Year at Home

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has issued an order for Georgians to shelter-in-place from Friday 4/3 through Monday 4/13

The Governor has also decided that Georgia K-12 schools should not have students return to the classrooms but to finish the school year through online classes. Alabama had already made a similar order for the remainder of the year.

The Governor had hoped that mayors would determine their stay at home orders for cities throughout the state but as more state Governor's issued shelter-in-place orders, Kemp announced his decision today.
