Good Friday: Bono Talks About Jesus

In Bono's 2013 interview with RTE One's Gay Byrne on The Meaning of Life, the U2 front man, activist and human rights advocate discusses his faith.

We sometimes hear celebrities, musicians and talk show hosts bash faith in God. We do occasionally hear someone famous talk about a very watered down version of being "religious".

Bono is a rare exception who has no problems with opening up about his faith and worship of Jesus who he very comfortably calls the Messiah.

Bono admits in interviews that he isn't perfect and in this interview refers to himself as a miracle.

He channels C.S. Lewis when asked if Jesus is God.

It's rare to hear anyone with this much fame share this openly about their faith.
