A Russian teenager was warming up for a soccer match when a lightning bolt hit him.
16 year-old Ian Zaborovsky plays goalkeeper for FC Znamya Truda and was on the pitch warming up for a match on July 4, when the bolt hit him. He lost consciousness and was rushed to the hospital. He suffered burns and has since returned to play.
It is believed that a necklace Zaborovsky was wearing attracted the strike.
