I talked with Dr. Alveda King about a few issues on her mind on this first ever Black Voter Registration Day.
Dr. King's message is consistently one of unity for all but we did discuss issues that are important to her as a black American, especially protecting the unborn.
We also discussed statues and her feelings about the Frederick Douglass status being vandalized in Rochester, NY.
Her new Book We're Not Colorblind; Healing the Racial Divide is in stores now.
