HIGH POINT, N.C. - Columbus State University women's basketball player Tatiana Wayne has been named to the Southeast All-Region second team by the Division II Conference Commissioners Association.

Wayne was also a Second Team All-Peach Belt Conference selection this year after winning both the PBC and Southeast Region Player of the Year awards last season.

The senior eclipsed the 1,000 point mark for her career this season en route to finishing with a career total of 1,323 points.

Wayne led the team this season averaging 17.6 points per game while hitting 65 shots from behind the arc. She finished second overall in the Peach Belt Conference in points per game and fifth in total three-pointers made. The senior also finished among the conference's top-10 in free throws, free throw percentage and steals.

The prolific scorer finishes third all-time in CSU history in points scored. The 440 field goals made along with the 146 made three-pointers during her career puts Wayne in fifth place in both categories in the all-time Columbus State record books.

Sports information directors from NCAA Division II Southeast Region schools and conferences selected the D2CCA All-Southeast Region teams.
