Former CSU Pitcher Kolton Ingram Off to Quick Start in Minors

COLUMBUS - Former Columbus State University baseball player Kolton Ingram has made a quick impression with the Gulf Coast League Tigers in his first career appearances. 

Ingram has pitched in five games, tossing 10.1 strong innings for the GCL Tigers since being drafted. The lefty has been nearly untouchable allowing just three hits and one run for an ERA of 0.87. He has a WHIP of 0.87 while punching out seven.

Ingram's best outing came on July 15 as the former Cougar threw four scoreless innings surrendering just one hit against the GCL Blue Jays. He struck out a pair with no walks. 

The all-time career strikeout leader at Columbus State, Ingram was selected in the 37th round of the 2019 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers. In his CSU career, Ingram appeared in 66 games posting a 25-11 record with an ERA of 2.76.
