Softball Golf Scramble Set
By CSU Sports Information
COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University softball program will be hosting its annual golf scramble on Saturday, August 10 at the Fort Benning Golf Course.
One of the highlights of the year, the CSU Softball Golf Scramble is a major fundraiser for the Lady Cougar team. With 100 percent of the proceeds going straight to the softball program, this is your best way to support the Lady Cougars while also enjoying a round of golf with your friends or co-workers.
A free lunch starts the fun on August 10 before the scramble tees off at 1 p.m. Prizes will be handed out at the event, including for the top-three finishing teams.
The cost for a four-person team is $400 with a mulligan package for $80. Hole sponsorships are also available for $150.
To donate or to register, please contact CSU head coach Brad Huskisson at 706-341-5501 or huskisson_brad@columbusstate.edu.
One of the most prestigious programs at the NCAA Division II level, Columbus State University has collected over 1,000 wins with 12 trips to the NCAA Tournament. In all, the Lady Cougars have won nine Peach Belt Conference Championships, including back-to-back tournament titles in 2012 and 2013, while producing 14 All-Americans.
