Cougars Ready for Auburn
Gates will open at 5 p.m. on Wednesday.

COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University baseball team is set to host Auburn on Wednesday at Burger King Stadium at Ragsdale Field to begin its fall season. First pitch is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Gates will open at 5 p.m. with tickets costing $5. Parking will be free with availability behind the Cunningham Center, besides the Mary V. Blackmon Tennis Center, and Lot 5 behind Columbus State Plant Operations.
Fans are encouraged to arrive early and enjoy the atmosphere and batting practice for both teams. The Cougars will take batting practice beginning at 5 p.m. with Auburn following at 5:40. Each team will also take a round of infield starting at 6:20.
"We can't ready for Wednesday night to get here," added CSU head coach Greg Appleton. "You can feel the enthusiasm around campus and the community, and we are thankful for the support we've been shown. We are excited to welcome Auburn to Columbus and show off our wonderful facility."
Columbus State and Auburn are pleased to announce that the ceremonial first pitch will be thrown by Brigade Commander Colonel Michael Scarpulla of Fort Benning.
Before the first pitch, Ezell's Catfish of Columbus will have a food truck outside of Burger King Stadium offering fish, chicken, and shrimp plates.
