INNISBROOK, Fla. - After shooting a four-over 288 over the final round, the 24th-ranked Columbus State University men's golf team grabbed a second place finish at the Copperhead Championship. The tournament was held at the Innisbrook Resort's Copperhead Course in Innisbrook, Fla.

The Cougars were just seven shots back from No. 4 Barry who took the team title with a two-under 850 team score. No. 14 Lincoln Memorial (863), No. 7 Georgia Southwestern (866), and No. 3 West Florida (869) rounded out the top-five.

"The men hung in there and battled in some tough conditions" said Director of Golf Mark Immelman. "They put themselves in contention for the second time in as many weeks, and I'm confident they will pull it off in the near future."

Individually, three CSU players finished inside the top-10.

Jordan Doull continued his great start to the 2019-20 season with his second straight top-five result. After starting the day in 18th place, Doull carded a two-under 69 to jump into a fourth place tie.
