By CSU Sports Information

ADA, Okla. - Columbus State University women's soccer player Riley Clark was named to the 2019 Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-America team on Wednesday.

Clark, who was named an All-American by the United Soccer Coaches organization last season, was a second team selection by the D2 CCA. She is the sixth two-time All-American in program history and the 22nd overall.

The Peachtree City, Ga. native left her mark on the Columbus State program helping the Lady Cougars to three Peach Belt Conference regular season championships and two tournament titles. This season, Clark led CSU in goals (15), assists (six), and points (36). She was also awarded the PBC's Select Sport Gold Ball Award given to the player with the most goals in conference matches.

The senior had one of the best stretches in Lady Cougar history as she set a program record by scoring in nine consecutive matches.

Clark wrapped up her career with 51 goals, 17 assists, and 109 points. She is third in the CSU record book in goals and tied for fourth in points while being only the sixth player in PBC history to score over 50 goals.

In addition, Clark was named a CoSIDA Academic All-American in November.

Sports Information Directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three D2 CCA All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all first team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot.

The Division II Conference Commissioners Association encourages and promotes Division II athletics and high standards of sportsmanship as important elements of higher education. The CCA is a key communications link among the conferences as they discuss views, policies and regulations that impact Division II intercollegiate athletics and works closely with the NCAA as a communications channel to NCAA Division II member colleges and universities.
