Clark Named to United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Capping off the award season, Columbus State University women's soccer player Riley Clark was named to the 2019 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-American Team.

Clark has had a busy offseason being honored by numerous organizations. Along with this accolade, Clark has already been named a CoSIDA Academic All-American and a Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-American. She was also a first team All-Southeast Region selection by the United Soccer Coaches association.

One of only six players in Peach Belt Conference history with 50 or more career goals, Clark concluded a storied four-year run at Columbus State. Ranking third all-time with 51 goals and tied for fourth in points with 109, the senior helped CSU to three PBC regular season titles and two PBC Tournament championships.

In 2019, Clark led the Lady Cougars in goals (15), assists (six), and points (36) in 2019. She finished ranked 20th in the nation in goals and 25th in points while taking home the PBC's Select Sport Gold Ball Award, given to the player with the most goals in conference matches.

In the classroom, she is a three-time PBC All-Academic honoree as well as being a two-time CoSIDA Academic All-American and two-time United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America Team selection. She is majoring in nursing and holds a 3.73 GPA.

On the field, the Peachtree City, Ga. native is one of just six Columbus State players to be named an All-American in two different seasons.
