Two More Join Lady Cougars

COLUMBUS - The Columbus State University women's soccer program has added two more players for the 2020 season.

Head coach Jay Entlich announced the additions of Abigail Teal and Kensley Zieba on Thursday.

"We are glad to have Abigail and Kensley join our program," commented Entlich. "Both of these players will help us add depth to our team and that is critical in a long and grinding season."

In December, CSU signed six players for the upcoming year. Vanessa Aviles, Anna Grady, Hanna Holley, Hailey McGee, Juliana Rivera, and Samantha Romaine joins Tate and Zieba a part of the recruiting class.

Abigail Teal - Bremen High School - Bremen, Ga.

A three-time team MVP at Bremen High School, Teal has started every match in her high school career. She has led Bremen to two region titles and two state final four appearances in her time at the school. She has been selected to the all-region first team on three occasions and has been selected to the Georgia High School All-Star team twice.

In addition to playing soccer, Teal is a standout on the court being a four-year letterwinner in basketball.

She has played on multiple club teams including being on the 2017-18 Georgia ODP team.

Kensley Zieba - Madisonville North Hopkins High School - Hanson, Ky.

A standout from Kentucky, Zieba is a two-time All-State selection at Madisonville North Hopkins High School. She earned four varsity letters at Madisonville as well as being a four-time all-region selection.

At the club level, she has played six years for Tudela FC Elite Team being the 2018-19 team caption for the 02 elite team.

Zieba shines in the classroom being an academic all-region selection in all four seasons at Madisonville.
