Senator Elizabeth Warren is reviving her proposal to impose a wealth tax on the richest Americans.
The Massachusetts Democrat told reporters a wealth tax is long overdue and would generate more revenue and opportunity.
She is introducing legislation that would apply a tax on those worth more than 50 million dollars.
Warren argued that the "wealth of the billionaire class in America increased by more than a trillion dollars over the last year."
