Major wireless carriers are offering assistance to those impacted during the shutdown which includes AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon.
AT&T is offering flexible payment options for phones, televisions and internet service.
The company says as long as the shutdown continues, its customer service team will waive late fees, provide extensions and coordinate revised payment schedules.
Sprint announced that it will coordinate with qualified customers to find payment options.
T-Mobile is offering payment deferral and flexible payment options.
And Verizon is offering a "promise to pay program" which allows customers to set a future date for payment.
