The social network site has officially launched in-app purchases.
Shoppers in the U.S. can buy items from more than 20 brands on Instagram.
Here's how it works:
You see the product you want.
You buy it straight from your timeline.
YES...It's that simple.
Originally, users would have to visit the retailer's website or app to place an order.
Just look for the "Checkout on Instagram" option when you are ready to make your purchase.
Instagram is expected to open the feature to more brands in the coming months.
