Dog Rescued Miles From Shore

A dog's incredible journey is being shared around the world.

The dog was first seen paddling in the ocean by an oil rig crew in the Gulf of Thailand.

The rig is 135 miles off shore.

Workers were able to pull the pup to safety.

And he even gained a name, Survivor, for obvious reasons and was celebrated on the rig.

Workers believe the dog fell off a fishing boat and survived because the gulf was calm that day.

Survivor was taken in by an animal rescue group and has been checked out and is in good shape.
