By CSU Sports Information

INGATE, N.C. –Continuing racking up the awards, Columbus State University baseball player Devin Dudal was named to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-Southeast Region second team.

This is the second All-Region honor for Dudal as he was named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Southeast Region team last week. He was also tabbed for the All-Peach Belt Conference first team earlier in the month.

The righty put together one of the most successful seasons ever by a Cougar reliever leading the PBC with 13 saves. Dudal's save total was tied for the second most ever by a CSU player in a single season and was one shy of the program record held by Paul Able set in 2006.

Overall, the sophomore appeared in 29 games finishing the year with a 2.45 ERA. He averaged over a strikeout per inning punching out 63 batters in 51.1 innings.
