COLUMBUS – Thirty-two current or former Columbus State University student-athletes received their degrees during the recent commencement ceremonies.

Overall, 27 Cougars received their bachelor's degrees while five furthered their education by garnering a master's degree.

"The discipline and focus necessary to achieve at a high-level, both athletically and academically, is directly reflected through our graduating student-athletes," commented Director of Athletics Todd Reeser. "With great pride, we congratulate each of them in the achievement of the ultimate victory: graduation!"

The 2019 spring graduating class was the largest in Columbus State's 60-year history as the school honored more than 930 students.

The Columbus State Spring Commencement is a celebration recognizing the culmination of years of work by students and faculty. It represents a time of pride for CSU's faculty and staff, as well as for students and their families.
