Lady Cougars Fourth in National Preseason Poll

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On the eve of preseason camp, the Columbus State University women's soccer team was voted fourth in the preseason United Soccer Coaches national poll.
Grand Valley State sits atop of the poll with Bridgeport and UC San Diego in the second and third positions. Bloomsburg rounds out the preseason top-five.
The six-time defending Peach Belt Conference regular season champions, CSU returns nine starters from last season's squad that went 18-1-2 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament quarterfinals.
Columbus State will begin preparations for the season today with its first official practice.
