By CSU Sports Information

COLUMBUS - Columbus State University Director of Golf Mark Immelman released the fall schedule for the Lady Cougars.

The Lady Cougars are set to play in four events over the fall months.

"We are very excited about our ladies' team," said Immelman. "Last season was a watershed for us and the program surely took a step in the right direction. We have some new talent added to the mix and a fun, diverse schedule that will highlight our talent."

CSU will begin their season on Sept. 22 as the Lady Cougars compete in the Battle at Old South at the Old South Golf Links in Pembroke, N.C.

On Oct. 14, Columbus State heads to Dahlonega, Ga. to participate in the sixth annual LeeAnn Noble Memorial at the Achasta Golf Club.

The following week, the Lady Cougars will head down to Florida for the Flagler Fall Slam at the Marsh Creek County Club in St. Augustine, Fla. on Oct. 21.

Columbus State closes out their fall season on Oct. 28 at the Jekyll-O-Lantern Intercollegiate hosted by Lincoln Memorial. The tournament will be played at the Jekyll Island Golf Club.

The Lady Cougars are returning five players from last season, including senior Anna Meleshkina and junior Victoria Libaak. Libaak became the first Lady Cougar player to win the Peach Belt Conference Championship last season while Meleshkina grabbed All-PBC honors.
