CSU Athletics Participates in 2019 Day of Service

COLUMBUS - Close to 200 Columbus State University student-athletes and staff were out in full force recently for the 11th annual Day of Service.

One of the highlights of the year, the annual event allows Columbus State students, faculty and staff to give back to the Columbus area. It also helps the CSU community to connect with individuals all across the region with partnerships with over 30 non-profit organizations.

Nearly every program was represented on Saturday with the Cougars and Lady Cougars volunteering their time at the Ronald McDonald House, Feeding the Valley, the Girls Scouts of Columbus, Warrior Outreach, and Camp Abilities of Columbus among others.

"I am so proud of the leadership of our coaches and staff, and the enthusiasm of our student-athletes, in supporting this important community service event," said Director of Athletics Todd Reeser. "Well done Cougars!"

Throughout the year, the Columbus State University Athletics Department volunteers countless hours in the community to show Columbus and the surrounding area how much its support means to the Cougar family.
